CIDJAP Director Attends Europe and Africa Justice & Peace Commissions Forum at Hague, Netherlands
Following the African Synod of October 2009, key stakeholders comprising of Bishop and leading members of the church and society, politics and academic gathered under the umbrella of the Europe and African Justice and Peace Commission to effect the implementation of the propositions of the last synod.
Representing Nigeria were Archbishop John Onayiekan and Rev. Msgr. Obiora Ike of the Catholic Institute for Development & Peace (CIDJAP) who made strong interventions on the way forward on issues of migration, transitional and economic justice, inter-religious dialogue etc.
