Recently the institute lost two of its members. First it was Engr. Cletus Uzobuenyi Ude, our technical consultant who died on 18th October, 2010. A month later Francis Owoh, our Manager at Ofuobi Africa Center died on 16th.
Engr. Ude was committed to mother earth on 30th November, 2010 at his country home Onicha Amokwe, Udi L.G.A. Enugu State. His Lordship Most Rev. C.V.C. Onaga and a host of other Monsignors and Priests attended the ceremony.
The homily was taken by Msgr. Obiora Ike who extolled the virtues of Engr. Ude. He commented that he is every hardworking, dedicated, dynamic, prayerful and a doting father. He urged the family to continue from where he stopped, to remain united and committed like their father.
He also remarked that every burial is a reminder to all of us that our own death is coming soon and we account of everything we do on earth.
The staff attended the burial of Francis Owoh in his country home Umuchime Village, Udi. The burial service took place at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Udi. The pastor in charge of the church urged Christians to live a worthy life and be prepared because death comes like a thief.
He lamented that the worst thing that will happen ton any Christian is to die unprepared and experience hell fire. The interment and the other burial rites followed after the service.
The CIDJAP family condoled with the two families and promised to keep in touch with them. We will forever miss our departed colleagues. The gap they created is too wide to fill and too difficult to replace, however we take solace in the Lord who is the resurrection life.
We wish that he receives their souls and grant them eternal rest till we meet to part no more.
